Beautiful design, but don't think it's poplin

Absolutely lovely design, but like the previous reviewer says - I don't think it's cotton poplin.

I am very unhappy with this fabric
It's described as a cotton poplin but it is way to heavy plus it's slightly shiny and it's stretchy.
I bought this as I wanted to make a structured dress with it
